My website

Starting counseling can feel like a big step—for kids, teens, and families. My goal is to make that step feel comfortable, safe, and even hopeful. I work hard to create a space where young people feel heard, respected, and supported, whether they are dealing with tough emotions, stressful situations, or simply trying to understand themselves better. I want each child or teen to feel empowered, capable, and understood. I also believe in partnering with caregivers to support healthy communication and growth outside the therapy room.

I primarily use a person-centered style that focuses on genuine connection and collaboration. I also incorporate Adlerian and Internal Family Systems principles when they fit a young person’s needs. For children especially, I often use play therapy and expressive arts techniques, which allow them to communicate and process emotions in ways that feel natural.

Most of all, I want every young person I work with to know they are not alone. I’m here to listen, to support, and to help them build the tools they need to navigate challenges and feel more confident in themselves.
