Named "Top Therapist" by Washington Family Magazine. Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and the Anxiety Specialist at Potomac Therapy Group. I specialize in helping teens, adults, and couples overcome anxiety & work through any trauma. This includes anxiety in people's personal as well as professional lives, around previous trauma, with interpersonal relationships, and anxiety co-occurring with ADHD. I work with clients who are ready to change their anxious thinking, low self-esteem, & intrusive thoughts. I also do couples therapy and am trained in the Gottman Method. I am neuro-divergent and LGBTQIA+ friendly.
My training is in CBT and CPT, evidence-based practices known to successfully treat anxiety and trauma. I also dive deeper and help you understand any self defeating patterns and where they may come from. Through years of clinical work and my studies at Georgetown University, I have dedicated my career to helping those who are ready for change.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients from all walks of life can process what is happening in their world. I work with clients to develop strategies to create a more balanced life and reclaim a sense of control and satisfaction in their life & relationships. I am currently accepting new clients. Feel free to contact me today for a free consult.

Groups
Anxiety Support Group for Teens

Join us for a teen support group where we discuss anxiety and how it affects our daily lives. Teens will feel less alone and more understood by meeting other peers who are dealing with similar issues. Along with the help of a licensed clinical social worker, your teen will develop strategies to learn how to better manage their anxious thoughts. Teens will learn how to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy so they can learn how to handle anxious, unsettling thoughts outside of therapy.
