Many individuals may not be a fan of therapy, which is okay! It is important to find what works best for an individual, whether it is a mix of talk therapy and exercise, but the main point is to find a healthy way of coping. There is no age limit to being able to come into therapy but glad that an individual can find their way into it; there is a lot of stigma surrounding mental health that is from their upbringing, culture, or background.
As a starting intern, my main experience was during my undergraduate internship helping domestic violence victims. I was able to help co-facilitate a group of women who were going through domestic abuse or gone through it and help them cope through talk therapy and providing resources if needed.
