Hi, I’m Andrea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist. With over 20 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings and within the public school system, I have had the privilege of supporting children and adolescents through a wide range of challenges.
My passion is helping children discover and build on their strengths, overcome obstacles, develop new skills, and establish healthy relationships. I believe therapy should be engaging, collaborative, and tailored to each child, always provided in a safe and supportive environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach to build trusting relationships. I specialize in CBT, Trauma Processing, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness. Through play and talk therapy, I help children manage emotions, build social skills, boost self-esteem, and improve impulse control in a safe, supportive environment.
Finding the right therapist is key to the therapeutic process. I will partner with you to help your child develop the skills they need to thrive emotionally, socially, and behaviorally.
