I am a native Nevadan--born, raised, and working in Carson City. I’ve devoted over 25 years to providing support for children and families, individuals and couples--the past six years in a clinical setting. My clients work with me to improve communication skills and interactions. While my primary focus is play therapy, I specialize in teaching parents tools for improving relationships with their children by improving communication skills and increasing patterns of empathy.
Working with individuals also provides significant professional fulfillment. My clinical work is grounded in a person centered approach. Building an effective therapeutic relationship is my primary focus. I respect the inherent vulnerability in the therapeutic process.
