I am an Eating Disorder Specialist licensed in MA and CT. I have spent the last 20+ years in private practice treating people who struggle with eating disorders, food related issues and body image. I believe that everyone can recover and build a healthy, happy and fulfilling life free from constant obsessive thoughts and behaviors involving food and body image. I work collaboratively with nutritionists and medical doctors to provide comprehensive care. I am also an expert at treating anxiety, depression, ADD and trauma based responses as these are often underlying conditions that require treatment as well.
Additionally, I am a Certified Eudaimonia Clinician. This unique therapy is based on the understanding that if you change your thoughts you will change your life. The goal of this therapy is to help you learn live in a state of calm- no matter what life stressors come your way. This approach is based on CBT, Positive Psychology, and Energy Work.
I believe that the most important aspect of this work is the therapeutic relationship. My approach is collaborative and encouraging. I want people to feel as if they have me 'on their side' as they make changes in their lives. We will work together to create goals and a plan for what you want your future to look like.
