Thinking about therapy? Wondering if it will be helpful? Worried you might be judged? These are all normal to feel when starting or thinking about starting therapy. I don’t know if I will be the right match for you, but you won’t know unless you give it a try. I will work to listen and understand you, without judgement, so that we can work together to bring about change and enhance your well-being.
My primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies. I like to look at the client as a whole to ensure overall wellness. I also like to incorporate mindfulness exercises and relaxation techniques into sessions to increase body and mind connection.
Making sure you feel comfortable and have a good fit with your counselor will help you to feel more at ease and confident in the process. Please, feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.
