With over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I provide a warm, authentic, and collaborative space where adults can explore life’s challenges, gain insight, and create meaningful change. I work with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, separation and divorce, fertility, pregnancy and infant loss, grief, trauma, self-esteem, chronic illness, medical and surgical weight loss, and work-life balance. I am passionate about providing affirming care to members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Prior to private practice, I worked for The Women's Center in Vienna, VA. Over several years, I gained extensive experience working with individuals suffering from the effects of trauma, abuse and domestic violence.
I work from a strengths based perspective and assist clients in facing life challenges in realistic ways through a combination of cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapies. I provide a confidential, safe environment for exploration and change.
