Dealing with the day-to-day stress of mental health symptoms can feel isolating and at times impossible. Stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma can feel like it is getting in the way of personal growth and living life to the fullest. My aim as a therapist is to aid you in finding personal strengths to guide you through making changes that are positive for your lifestyle. I specialize in providing mental health and substance use therapy to adults. I enjoy utilizing different approaches when working with clients including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and drug Counselor (LADC). I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a safe and effective therapy to address past traumas as well as day-to-day symptoms of depression and anxiety.
I love creating collaborative solution-focused approaches to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.
As a therapist, I am committed to providing a safe and comforting space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as anybody who experiences societal marginalization or oppression due to systemic racism, ableism etc.
