I am a partner at Leek Therapy. My work as a mental health professional has allowed me the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, ranging from pre-k to high school transition age to adults. I have experience working with students with exceptionalities, specifically children on the autism spectrum and those who are d/Deaf and hard of hearing. I also have experience working in dual diagnosis of substance use and mental health concerns.
I use a humanistic/person centered approach to counseling. I believe that each individual's treatment is most effective when it is as unique and individual as they are. I tend to utilize concepts from CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing though I often collaborate with the client on treatment approach they feel they are hoping to explore and guide them.
