My approach is primarily psychodynamic, helping clients bring unconscious thoughts and behaviors to the conscious, helping clients shift to more effective and fulfilling patterns of functioning.
With nineteen years of direct practice, and postgraduate training at The Washington School of Psychiatry, I have extensive experience in treatment of Mood Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, and Sexual and Gender identity issues and work extensively with adolescents and adults. I periodically facilitate group work with adolescents.
