My clients seek out concrete and reliable tools to overcome anxiety and depression. Many are mothers and grateful for my ability to understand their unique life challenges, having had a very large family of my own. Other clients learn to map out the painful and lingering effects of personal trauma or loss, overcome their suffering and rediscover joy. Having personally lost both parents within a 4 month period, I know the painful price of love, that is, the death of a loved one. For this reason, I also offer home visits to those with limited mobility. I love helping persons build strong self-esteem and creating better life stories.
Having 23 years of therapy experience, I value my ability to offer a safe place where clients are respected and celebrated for their uniqueness. I insist that the work and goals pursued, reflect the client's needs, principles and values and are simple to implement. I am known to put clients at ease and for finding their reservoirs of even hidden strength.
We all have known periods of feeling defeated or lost. Life can become complicated, full of pain and we need the help of a professional to sort out our thoughts and feelings and identify our goals. My approach is safe, yet still firm. Leading from behind, I give you space to talk, reflect what I hear, and ensure your growth of self-awareness & coping tools.
