I believe everyone has an inherent capacity to change, find solutions, heal from pain, and create a purposeful life. Using a strengths based approach, I collaborate with clients to identify issues that are most troubling to them and tailor the clinical experience to best fit the clinical needs. I strive to a provide down to earth and accessible environment that will foster a confidential professional relationship, which in turn provides a solid foundation for personal growth. A client best suited for my practice will be someone who wants to be heard and accepted, and someone who appreciates feedback, observation, and validation.
Throughout my 15 + years in this field, I have enjoyed working with a diverse range of clients including teens, young adults, adults and couples. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, grief, relationship and family conflict, substance use issues, and I work well with LGBTQ+ persons.
I customize our work with various treatment perspectives including cognitive and dialectical behavioral (CBT/DBT), trauma informed therapy, and acceptance work. I am honored to do this work, as I partner with clients to realize their goals and potential. Making the first call is often the most challenging, and I respect that effort by being accessible.
