Going to therapy for the first time can be an intimidating experience. In my sessions, I prioritize creating a warm and safe environment for you to be your authentic self. I utilize a person-first, client centered approach to therapy. I enjoy working with all people in all populations, but I have specialized in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. My goal is to support you as you take your steps towards your desired goals and outcomes.
I have extensively trained in a trauma therapy known as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which I enjoy using with clients to help them reclaim their narrative, as well as CBT and DBT. I approach clients with awareness of intersectionality and understanding of the roles historically oppressive systems that impact our day to day lives.
