It is normal to struggle. Often it's not until we're in the middle of an experience that we realize how challenging it is. I have a warm, down-to-earth approach to help clients feel at ease, to allow for vulnerable and frank conversation as we begin to address your challenges. I work with clients to accept our feelings without judgement, and find ways to help you take back control over your life, to make choices and take actions that align to your values and goals. We can address the past, break cycles, and create new goals. Feelings don't have to get in the way of you living your best life.
I have worked with people struggling with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, and relational problems. I am certified in perinatal mental health and work with people at all stages of the parenthood journey, including infertility, loss, pregnancy, birth trauma, and postpartum depression and anxiety.
I offer a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy, utilizing acceptance and commitment strategies, mindful self-compassion, and attachment theory. With kindness, compassion, and a little humor, I am confident we can create a plan to help you flourish. I am an inclusive and trans-affirming therapist.
