I love working with people on the autism spectrum as well as with traumatized clients, and those who want to stay sober. I also support couples who are ready to change their communication and reduce their reactivity. If you wish to use your spirituality I will love to incorporate this in our work. I work best with clients who seek peaceful ways and functional relationships.
I hope to help with an open-minded style that is active, empowering, and, if appropriate, solution-oriented. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and various psychodynamic approaches, but also in coaching young, autistic adults. Being trained specifically for autism spectrum disorder for young adults, I offer ADOS testing from ages 12-21.
We are all imperfect, and life has become so complex. It is hard to maneuver life, especially when we feel depressed, anxious, or avoidant. My private practice is small as I work full time for Passages Treatment Center, Malibu, but I accept a small number of clients who can benefit from my highly confidential online practice.
