Are you ready to take control of your anxiety, relationship problems, or a recent life transition? I offer therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples. My clients describe my approach as warm, but direct and my ideal clients come to therapy ready to put in the work. In the initial session, we will determine your goals, discuss strategies for meeting them, and develop an individualized treatment plan based on evidence-supported techniques. Finally, we'll monitor progress over time and make sure that therapy is helping you apply new skills to your life outside of the therapy room.
I specialize in cognitive behavioral treatment for anxiety, OCD, and relationship-based issues (especially the transition to parenthood). I have strong training in evidence-based treatments, meaning I use techniques that are scientifically tested. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and the ComB treatment for trichotillomania.
Therapy should be a collaborative and productive experience. Research shows a strong connection with a therapist is the best predictor of treatment outcome. Please note: Dr. Dendrinos is a member of PSYPACT, allowing her to see clients in a number of states. In addition to offering virtual services, she also offers community-based exposures when needed.
