Andrea is the owner and founder of systemic psychotherapy and flamenco psychotherapy a Bilingual (Spanish- English) style of psychotherapy. She developed her principle of systemic psychotherapy based on the utilization of a diverse range of clinical techniques integrating science, art, and spirituality to decrease symptoms of CPTSD. She created training programs. She taught family therapy at Fordham University. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST)
Andrea and the systemic psychotherapy center have two main areas of research and expertise: family therapy and complex trauma (PTSD). Her systemic perspective of clinical issues includes creating training programs for students such as the FSW training program and an internship program at Family Services of Westchester.
I am excited to share my cultural background knowledge and expertise in a holistic approach to therapy, aiming to decrease emotional dysregulation, an example of these techniques is the program I created, flamenco psychotherapy, a dance movement therapeutic technique for decreasing stress-related issues.

Flamenco psychotherapy is a psyche soma healing technique for decreasing stress. We use outdoor spaces because the stomping of flamenco steps helps with decreasing dissociation. Also, hand and feet coordination creates neuroplasticity (learning something new). The fee is 30 dollars per person, minimum 3 people.
