Hi, I’m Andrea, and I’m an LADC who is working towards LPCC under a licensed supervisor. I am a bilingual Spanish therapist committed to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by the Latino community. I have been working in the addiction and mental health field for over ten years. I work well with chronic populations, harm reduction, meeting people where they are at, and together working on small goals that over time can lead to big changes.
I utilize motivational interviewing as a base for counseling and rely on Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness, connecting with nature, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, DBT strategies, Internal Family Systems, incorporating self-care and utilizing the mind body connection for healing.
My areas of interest are substance use, relationship issues, management of ADHD symptoms, adolescent issues, narcissistic abuse, and culturally sensitive trauma-focused therapy. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals of all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community. I am only able to provide telehealth services at this time
