I provide astrologically informed therapy. By that I mean that astrology is my main theoretical orientation, and is the guiding principle in how I understand people. I seek to help each person embody their essential nature more fully. My approach is non-pathologizing. I work to listen carefully to you to understand your experience. As we are all touched by suffering and loss, we sometimes must face difficulties that we cannot cope with on our own. In therapy we gain support to face and work through these kinds of issues. Above all, your concerns direct our work together.
I believe that therapy facilitates transformation through relationship, and that people get better with a deep sense of human connection. Being listened to and understood strengthens us and is inherently curative. This is the basis from which we work to grow beyond habits and patterns that limit us.
Selecting a psychotherapist is a very personal matter. You are forming a significant relationship and therefore must feel comfortable with me. I enjoy this work and believe I am well suited to it. I have been in practice over 30 years and work with adults and older teens.
