I am a NYS licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in treating clients with borderline personality disorder, depression and anxiety disorders. My research interests focus on adolescents exhibiting cutting behavior as well as mindfulness meditation. I have presented at local and state conferences and have conducted several clinical trainings related to anxiety, autism, and developmental disabilities at surrounding regional agencies.
In addition to individual therapy sessions, I conduct a DBT Skills Group. Although this therapy was originally designed to treat individuals with borderline personality disorder, it has since been proven effective in treating a variety of other disorders. This group is for affect and impulse control, eating disorders, anger management problems, and self-destructive behavior.
