I'm Andrea Brock, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience across various settings, including group homes, hospitals, crisis centers, and outpatient clinics. I have a passion for working with preteens, teens, and adults of all ages, specializing in anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, life transitions, and issues of identity. As an LGBTQ+ affirming provider, I'm dedicated to helping individuals feel more comfortable with their true selves.
I adopt an eclectic therapy style, tailoring evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of each client. I'm also skilled at breaking down complex concepts related to diagnoses, brain function, and medication effects into accessible and clear language, ensuring that my clients understand all aspects of their care.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Georgia State University, focusing on Sex and Gender, and continued on to obtain my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the same institution. Being a third-generation pastor’s wife, I have firsthand experience navigating the intersection of Christian teachings, cultural expectations, and LGBTQ+ identity.
