I share my residence, work & licenses between Illinois, Missouri and Florida. I love the flexibility and people in each location. I recognize that no matter the geography, we all face the constant changes in life and the stress that comes with it. Whether it is work/life stressors, aging, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, relationships, or other issues, none of us are exempt. Frequently, alcohol or drugs are used to "manage" the difficult times. It is my goal to help you navigate the complex feelings and to provide the tools and coping skills needed to support your mental health or addiction recovery. I believe recovery is possible.
I’ve built my practice with a client-focused, strengths-based, short-term solution-focused approach, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to remove the barriers that interfere with finding your "Joy in life." When addictive behaviors are identified, I employ a Stages of Change Model along with Motivational Interviewing as an effective course of treatment.
