I'm a seasoned clinician, with advanced expertise in family and couples therapy. I also have a sub-specialty: treatment of the professional writer, artist and performing artist. But I do not limit the scope of my practice to specialties; my work extends through life's full spectrum of quandaries and quagmires. Patients say the keys to our success are: safety, authenticity, flexibility, respect, wisdom, kindness, humor, and clarity. We work together, to understand the feelings that can sometimes ambush, block or trigger a person, derailing relationships and careers. We work without fast-forwarding past the hard parts - but without losing precious time.
And we catalyze courage for change. Change is hard! It's also exhilarating, raises new questions, opens new doors, and points the way to deeper sources of satisfaction in life. I have a solid track record of success, particularly with couples who have not succeeded in previous rounds of couples therapy.
