At different times in our lives we can feel stuck and struggle to find our way. We also live in a world that tends to make us feel abnormal if we aren’t happy, yet happiness can be elusive. My work is to meet you where you are and assist you on the journey of where you want to go. We collaborate to explore and gain understanding of your true nature, your authentic self. The therapeutic process may include taking stock of the passages of your life; looking at early attachment and its current manifestations; and how the therapeutic relationship may deepen insight, improve coping skills and expand opportunities.
Whether an individual or couple, I strive to listen to my clients' experiences with empathy and non-judgment. Treatment options are based on your unique history. I work with all life stages, including loss and grief, and offer comfort, support, connection. Together we cultivate intuition, wisdom, courage, and compassion for self and those we care for.
I work in a psychodynamic manner, often weaving in existential, feminist, attachment and compassion-based techniques. My therapy style is supportive, interactive and empowering.
