Hi, I'm Andie. I've helped people with their mental health recovery since the late 1980s. People have come to me feeling overwhelmed with challenging life circumstances or transitions. Some struggled to manage sadness, fear, ruminating thoughts, trauma, identity issues, relationship conflicts, unhealthy habits and more. Have you suffered in silence? Understanding and replacing ineffective patterns of thought/behavior takes time; it can be less overwhelming with guidance from a therapist.
My priority, as your therapist, is to provide a caring, non-judgmental place where you are validated, gain insights and learn/practice healthy coping skills including mindfulness, emotion regulation and effective communication. I use a holistic approach and emphasize seeking balance. I will guide you in collaborating to create relevant and attainable goals.
Some of my clients have had therapy before; for others it was their first time.
