I feel grateful to do what I do and I see it as a privilege to witness the resilient nature of the human spirit each day. Each person has a unique life story, and often there are aspects of it that cause pain and shame. None of us can escape suffering because it is a natural part of the human experience. This is a difficult truth to accept. My goal is not to help you avoid all emotional pain but to offer support so that you learn how to navigate it with more ease. The transformation happens when there is awareness, acceptance, compassion, & useful action towards a life that is aligned with values.
I am passionate about offering grief support to bereaved individuals. If you have experienced the loss of someone you love, know there is space for you here. You'll be able to navigate grief at your own pace with compassionate support. I am certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care, which is a mindfulness-based, non-medicalized approach to traumatic grief.
My approach to therapy is relational, mindfulness based, trauma-informed, compassionate, & culturally considerate. I believe in an integrative & holistic approach using a variety of modalities. Mindfulness Therapy Group
A 6 week group for women that offers an opportunity to gain a foundational understanding of mindfulness and develop a meditation practice. The following topics are covered: mind-body connection, contemplative practices, emotional regulation, radical acceptance, compassion. Mindfulness is a transformative approach to living life. Mindfulness and meditation practices foster presence,connection, and wellbeing. It can be a helpful approach for most people and especially in regards to managing anxiety, depression, stress, and ADHD
