I am deeply committed to helping children feel safe, understood, and truly valued for who they are. I have been a school social worker for 19 years, giving me a unique skill set to support children with many diverse needs. I brought my passion for supporting children's social and emotional wellness to private practice so that I can work on a deeper level with children and their families. I utilize a whole-child, strengths-based approach along with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help children explore and share their feelings, gain coping skills, and a stronger sense of self-worth.
In sessions, I use creative and interactive methods- such as books, play, and hands on activities- to teach new skills and coping strategies in fun and exciting ways. Collaboration with families is at the heart of my work, ensuring children receive consistent support and encouragement.
I am devoted to creating a warm, welcoming space where children can embrace their unique strengths and feel empowered as they grow and learn. My goal is for each child to leave our sessions with skills that boost their confidence, enhance coping strategies, and foster positive connections with others.
