I believe we all have an inner wisdom calling to us, asking us to pay attention. Sometimes this shows up as anxiety, depression, pain, exhaustion, anger, relationship struggles, frustration, and fear. When these visitors appear, they can overwhelm our ability to cope with everyday life. Caught in the struggle, it can be difficult to find our way through, to listen and understand what this wisdom is trying to tell us. In our sessions, I offer non-judgmental attention, presence, creativity, and intuitive curiosity - creating a relationship that allows my clients to discover their innate ability to grow and find healing.
In addition to talk therapy, I am trained in body-centered and expressive arts therapies. Our bodies are vehicles of experience, expression and potential. Techniques allowing clients to attend to breath, sensations and movement, gives them space to re-inhabit their bodies, recovering a sense of joy, vitality and playfulness.
I work with individuals and couples as they navigate relationship issues, anxiety, depression, physical and emotional traumas, eating disorders, and life changes. My clients often report tapping into a renewed sense of inner strength and resiliency as they come home to body, mind, and the fullness of themselves.
