I enjoy getting to know clients, developing goals suited to their individualized needs, strengths and vision for the future. Through a client-centered approach, I work with clients to develop positive coping strategies to manage emotions, increase communication, build interpersonal skills and resolve conflict.
I have worked with children and their families in various settings for the past 17 years. I come from a family with Christian beliefs and am eager to help others where I can. I am able to provide a relaxed treatment environment through the use of compassion, a good sense of humor, and an easygoing personality.
I have established strong relationships with community based treatment providers in the area and have experience working collaboratively for the benefit of the client. I am familiar with community resources and am able to provide additional educational support surrounding school based needs.
