My name is Anchanese (Niecy) Levison and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Atlanta, Georgia working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with high-functioning adolescents/teens and adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, and stress, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to assist my clients in improving their quality of life.
My approach to therapy varies based on the individual needs of each client. I mostly use Client-Centered Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), due to both modalities having the ability for the client and I to build a personal rapport of trust and understanding and navigate a path to a better place for the client.
My personal motto is: “I want to help people improve their quality of life, whether directly or indirectly.” I lost my father when I was in the 3rd Grade… a very troubling time for me and my family. I was experiencing a lot of emotions/feelings that I didn’t even understand, nor could I express.
