Daily living can be challenging, and with the added stress brought on by the political and social climate, many of us are struggling with our mental health. I specialize in working with BIPOC clients who find themselves struggling with the effects that racism, homophobia, xenophobia and micro aggressions have on mood and overall mental health. I have over 20 years of experience working with and treating adults from historically marginalized communities, as well as my own lived experience as a Black immigrant.
By practicing skills and strategies pulled from CBT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing, I provide my clients with a holistic and safe space where they can explore and utilize their strengths.
