I have experience working with individuals (ages 6+) and families with all manners of mental health diagnosis and external stressors. I have a particular interest in past and current traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, life adjustments, women issues (ie: postpartum &child loss) and oppositional behaviors.
I operate from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model because I believe every aspect of a person’s identity is important to acknowledge during treatment. My approach to therapy is grounded in putting the individual first because no two people are the exact same and therapy needs to tailor to the individual.
Therapy is a collaborative experience between the therapist and individual to foster self-understanding, and self-acceptance. Trust and respect are core values of mine and I believe in fostering those in therapeutic relationships. I seek to connect with clients in a way that they feel seen, heard, and respected.
