I am currently welcoming new clients to my practice in Arcata, as well as virtually anywhere in California. I work with a variety of different clients, and have experience in University Health Centers, Community Mental Health, as well as working with families and parenting education. I have extensive experience with undergrad and grad students and the issues that they experience balancing life, education, identity, and social relationships.
I also really enjoy working from an attachment perspective, and helping people heal from childhoods that intentionally, or unintentionally, caused harm.
I have training and experience working with anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, identity development, acculturation stress, family issues, substance use, and relationships. I am a trauma informed provider, that uses neuroscience to address symptoms using both the body and mind.
As an immigrant, I enjoy working with individuals of varying cultural and personal identities. I understand it can be difficult to reach out for help, and am happy to meet you where you are at in your process.
