I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate attachment wounds, childhood trauma, generational trauma, and every day life stressors. I also have experience in working with a variety of mental health issues.
Growing up as a Hispanic woman in a mixed family has given me the chance to listen and to learn from many different experiences. Through the stories people have shared with me, along with their challenges, perspectives, and hopes, I’ve come to better appreciate the many ways we each move through the world.
Due to this, I value being able to meet clients where they are at, hearing their stories, and learning how their culture, experience, and values have shaped them into who they are.
I use an eclectic approach which includes Narrative Therapy along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which allow me to support a client in telling their story, reclaiming their voice, and being able to see their strengths and value. My goal is to provide a safe space for all people to continue to make meaning of their stories and heal from their trauma.
