About
My approach centers on the mind-body connection. My goal is to facilitate deep healing with psychosomatic therapy. Through interpersonal and systemic traumas, unmet needs throughout life, and generally overwhelming situations, we struggle with disconnection and an inability to cope. Using approaches, like IFS and Brainspotting, we will work together to process emotions and distress and increase your ability to cope. If you are feeling lost, stuck, fearful, or hopeless, an attuned presence can help to guide you on your journey. Through a mind-body connection in therapy, you can heal to achieve wholeness and wellness.
I'm a trained Brainspotting therapist and use this approach frequently, as it provides such transformational results. Brainspotting is an effective body-based therapy used to resolve trauma, address negative thinking patterns, and work through difficult emotions. Integrating the body through mindfulness-based approaches can help resolve deeper core concerns.
Each individual possesses the innate ability to heal; connection can serve to further that process. The therapeutic relationship is a place to be seen and feel supported. I operate from an intersectional perspective and recognize how identity and society's many injustices impacts a person's mental health and each individual’s varying needs from a therapist.
