About
You’re a conscious, sensitive person, committed to justice and healing - but you find yourself feeling alone and confused about why you are continually struggling in relationships, or worse - you're worried intergenerational trauma has made being in healthy relationship out of reach for you. You’re intelligent and thoughtful, but you worry you're not reaching your potential because you’ve spent your life taking care of others and managing your anxiety/self doubt. You have a hard time trusting/knowing your own voice, and/or setting boundaries for yourself and others. I am passionate about working with LGBTQiA+ / BIPOC folks.
Beyond just understanding the problem, we will work together to identify what your deepest core values are and we will learn and practice evidence-based strategies geared towards creating the life you want. Therapy isn't always comfortable, but the people who I work best with really want to grow. I work with individuals, couples, teens, and parents.
The skills we will practice in therapy are not about fixing you. You are not broken, even though you may feel that way. Our work together will be about honing the innate resources you already have inside of you.
