I have 7+ years experience as a therapist. I work with folks from all walks of life, but I work best with people who are looking to overcome their past and feel more empowered in their daily lives. I work well with clients who appreciate a holistic approach mixed with down to earth strategies. I incorporate frankness and humor to help make therapy feel relaxed and natural. I love to work with clients who want to learn to cope with trauma, disordered eating, grief, prenatal, postnatal and parenting concerns, and relationship issues.
I have extensive experience treating clients using EMDR and IFS for treatment of all types of struggles, including: trauma, eating issues, anxieties and phobias. . I also offer talk therapy and use DBT to help you build the life you want. I come from an intuitive eating background and support Health at Every Size.
In my free time, I can be found reading, walking the neighborhood, and hanging out with my husband, two small children, two dogs, and four chickens. I also am ready to talk about plants at any time of the day. I've undergone my own mental health recovery, so I put a lot of empathy into my work.
