Hi, my name is Ana Bozorgzad. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist certified by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I have been practicing as a therapist for over 15 years. I can help people who experience symptoms of anxiety and depression learn to develop better coping skills and a healthier mindset. I will challenge your thought process at times to help you realize a new way of thinking. I enjoy my time spent helping others and I strive to make it so that others are able to have a positive therapeutic experience.
I believe therapy can be beneficial to those who are open to the process and willing to take responsibility for their part in the process. In my history as a therapist, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I have experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I currently only work with adults via teletherapy.
I strive to create a non-judgmental, open, safe space for my clients. Being empathetic and validating are part of my personality, and it will reflect in our sessions together. I like to incorporate humor as well, at times, when appropriate. I believe laughter is essential to healing. I can also be challenging when needed.
