My name is Anabel Solano and I’m a bilingual clinician, aspiring for my LPC in PA. I work under the supervision of Geraldine Pena, LPC at Live Truthfully Counseling, LLC. I obtained my masters in Counseling Psychology with a marriage and family therapy concentration. I spent one year of internship and close to three years post graduate, leading individual sessions and family sessions. The outpatient department I worked in focused on children who had traumatic experiences such as; sexual abuse, adoption, foster care and more. I have worked with a variety of different systems, cultures, and dynamics all under the Latinx community.
There is a current rise in depression and bullying that has led individuals to feeling unsupported and this results in isolation. We have a primal need for human connection. We need to feel compassion, empathy and understanding and that is what you will find with me. I am highly trained on working with mood disorders, connection issues and trauma.
I’m a firm believer that experiences can shape our thought processing, behaviors, and overall dispositions. Therapy is a way to work on understanding yourself and building the connections we need in life to feel whole. I will provide you a safe space, in your native language and knowledge of your cultural background, so you can feel heard. Reach out today!

We would like to extend a warm invite to our group dedicated to parents like you who have adopted children from a Latin American country. The group will be 6 sessions & geared around helping parents build connections with others who are experiencing a similar situations, gain new skills on how to parent their adopted child as well as discuss any cultural and development issues that may be occurring with the transition. Whether you are in individual counseling, family counseling, your child is receiving counseling and/or you no longer attend sessions regularly, this group would be a great support.
