Hi there! My name is Ana Sanchez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist here to provide some support in times when you need someone to talk to. I'd love to be a part of your support system and collaborate on working towards a transformative therapeutic experience in order to help you reach your goals. I have had the privilege of working with individuals having mild-to-moderate symptoms and providing services to individuals, couples, and families. I enjoy working with individuals one-on-one as well as the Spanish-speaking population on their therapeutic journey.
I have addressed various mental health conditions such as anxiety and panic disorders, depression, general relationship challenges/life changes (family, friends, co-workers, moving), as well as grief and loss.
Although there are many therapeutic approaches, I gravitate towards a person-centered approach as I believe in a person's ability to grow and flourish in their lives. As Carl Rogers once said, "People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying 'Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner'.
