My work experience has prepared me to work with a wide range of issues including but not limited to shock and developmental trauma, parenting issues, domestic violence and sexual abuse and career exploration.

My graduate degree in Health Psychology helped me understand the psychological factors involved in behavior and physical health and illness. In addition, I have specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, families and adults.

At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. Parents will learn effective tools to support their children’ ability to successfully manage their emotions and behaviors. Parents will meet with other parents to share their own experience in raising children in a kind and respectful environment. The parenting group will be a place to honor everyone's’ innate wisdom and desire for children to grow up in a safe and trusting environment.

Imagínate como te sentirías si pudieras entender mejor lo que tu hijo/a quiere o necesita de ti. Aprenderán herramientas efectivas para apoyar las habilidades de sus hijos/as para manejar sus emociones y comportamientos. Se reunirán con otros padres para compartir sus experiencias en la crianza de sus hijos/as en un ambiente compasivo y respetuoso.
