Many of us have found ourselves struggling to make sense of the unexpected in life. My role as a therapist is to come alongside you and support you in processing life's challenges and developing a path forward. Understanding yourself and the impacts of your experiences can give you the opportunity to build deeper connections with those you love and make peace with your journey. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I offer specialized support.
I am experienced working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, caregiver burnout, trauma, and struggles with attachment patterns. I offer a trauma informed approach to therapy and am trained in EMDR. I have also completed training in adoption competency (TAC) through ORPARC and have experience working with those in the adoption kinship network.
My approach is one in which I try to build a warm and welcoming therapeutic space. Your relationship with your therapist can be the biggest predictor of success in meeting your goals, and I want to have open dialogue on how well we are working together.
