I work with individuals, couples and families. It doesn't matter how many people are sitting in the office, I view each individual within the context of the systems they live in each day. We are all part of many systems, marital, family, school, community, work. The relationships and importance each of these systems place on individuals can sometimes can lead to breakdowns in communication and mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. Treating the dysfunction in the relationship often restores the feeling of wholeness in an individual and of course leads to stronger deeper relationships between individuals.
When working with children and adolescents, I encourage parents to learn to work and communicate with their child or teen. Parents need to have the skills to address the issues when they happen. These are life long skills, not just for the specific problem that brought you to therapy.
I have created a team of 12 marriage and family therapists located in Doylestown. We see clients in a beautiful old farm house. I want you to feel comfortable in our space, you'll never feel like your walking into a doctor's office. Willow, our office mascot and certified therapy dog joins me for sessions and is happy to greet clients in our our waiting room

Groups
Transitions: Women's Lives at Midlife and Beyond M
Midlife is the beginning of many transitions in women's lives. Change occurs in many spheres as children leave home; parent's age, and relationships face new challenges. This group will help women at midlife and beyond (40 and up) address the issues that arise as they move through life's stages and explore strategies to help them thrive and open up new paths of well-being and self-efficacy at every age.
