This is most prominent during transition times like adolescence, graduating, getting married or divorced, or losing part of your identity through a change in roles or job. In my practice I honor the whole person and treat mind, body, & spirit, as well as the connections with others in relationships. You are welcome & encouraged to bring your whole story and whole self to the therapy process.
I use a variety of techniques in my work with adolescents (12-25) & women, beginning with a person-centered approach. These include individual sessions in an office setting, art, talk therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, somatic processing, yoga; and individual/group outdoor Adventure Therapy sessions, utilizing managed risk in multiple adventure-based settings.
I offer compassionate and challenging outpatient treatment for women and adolescents (ages 12-25) weekly, bi-weekly, or whatever feels most supportive, providing a foundation for day-to-day living, growing, and relating. We will work towards health for the whole person: mind, soul, body, and relationships. Come as you are, and see what happens!
