Hi there! My name is Amy Swetnam and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 38 years of clinical experience. I work with individuals and couples in areas such as relationship issues, trauma, abuse, grief, and depression, amongst others. My clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
In our early sessions, we will get acquainted and I will gather information to get an overview of needs to be addressed. We will work collaboratively together to create goals and plan of action. There is no greater rewarding feeling, than helping a person learn to help themselves.
