I'm a therapist with an MSW from Columbia University and a B.A. in psychology, with over 2 decades of training and experience. I work in a wonderful group practice, and I help women and men with issues including relationship stress, life transitions, self-esteem, and career struggles.
I support high-achieving people, often with ADHD traits or a creative mindset, who are struggling with their relationships at home and work. I also have a speciality with women in midlife who are dealing with a difficult partner or starting a new phase, such as post-divorce, remarriage or career change.
My approach is warm, authentic and playful, drawing on both clinical training and real-life experience. Before becoming a therapist, I worked for years in the nonprofit sector directing community programs focused on parenting, relationship issues, and emotional well-being. My experience as a single mom has helped connect deeply with others.
In session, I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach and believe that each person is the expert on their own experience. My clients are people who have overcome many challenges, yet can uncover new strengths. I find what is unique about YOU, and support high-level confidence along with the drive to make transformational change.
