About
The adults and adolescents I treat, typically come into psychotherapy because they feel the need to develop a better understanding and/or make a change in a relationship that is faltering with a family member or partner. Many of the women I see are contending with problematic romantic relationships, some dealing with infidelity, some wondering about divorce or just trying to manage day to day in marriage. These days I see more and more people in relationships with others who have narcissistic tendencies and are struggling with how to cope and negotiate with difficult people.
I specialize in treating adults and adolescents with relationship problems. My style is warm and honest. I believe in giving lots of feedback and asking questions to help my client see their blindspots and see how they may be inadvertently contributing to the problems in which they find themselves.
Everyone can benefit from psychotherapy. Chemistry between therapist and client is really key. We all have patterns, some of which hold our growth back. I seek to make the therapy space a safe and accepting place. I help broaden the lens through which my client's see themselves and their sometimes self-defeating behaviors, with a gentle hand.
