You've been told that you're "too much" or overly sensitive. You've been told this a lot actually. And every time you hear it, the cut digs a little deeper. After awhile, you start to think maybe they're right. Why else would you feel so chronically overwhelmed? Why else would you tear up “for no reason.” You wonder, “Why am I like this? What’s wrong with me?” If you relate, you may be a highly sensitive person. Many highly sensitive people are neurodivergent in some way, and there are reasons why you're sensitive. It isn't because you're difficult and there’s nothing wrong with you. You’ve been misunderstood, maybe for a long time.
My specialty is working with neurodivergent and highly sensitive people, particularly high achievers and creative professionals navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, or a new diagnosis. Brainspotting and somatic therapy with me can help. I nurture a warm and safe space for us so you can explore your inner sensitivities with more clarity and self compassion.
Is your goal to understand yourself better? Is it to show up more authentically as your true self in relationships? Let's work on things important to you for your personal growth and wellness. Email for a free 20 minute consultation to answer questions and chat about things like what to expect during sessions, my therapeutic approach, billing, etc.

You've made progress with talk therapy, but something still feels off. Sometimes talk therapy doesn't go as deeply as you may need, especially if you're neurodivergent. I use eclectic approaches including non-talk therapies like brainspotting, somatic therapy, and mindfulness based guided visualizations to help clients rewire their nervous system for safety and access deeper parts of their psyche.

Somatic and compassion centered approaches are common in my work with clients. I'm certified in brainspotting for trauma processing and deeper healing. If you want to manage anxiety or life stressors, we may start with a structured or solution based approach, but generally, I use person centered and strength based modalities for a compassionate, humanistic, and eclectic approach to therapy.
