I am a licensed marriage and family therapist at Lake Conroe Counseling Center providing individual and family therapy in Montgomery, TX. As a graduate from Pepperdine University I have worked in both California and in Texas serving a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are family therapy, child therapy, grief and loss, culture shock, Third Culture Kids (TCK), and repatriation issues.
In addition to being a therapist, I spent 19 years living outside the U.S. in South America, and Asia. I raised my son, a TCK, while navigating many cultures as a global nomad. During my experiences overseas, I discovered some of the pitfalls that expats experience when returning home.
My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I work with children, adolescents, individuals, or families to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they desire.
